January 28 – Easter Island, Day Two was Cancelled So we had January 28 – 30 as Sea Days

An announcement came over the intercom first thing in the morning that the second port (don’t remember the name but it was at a marine sanctuary) was also closed so we had an unexpected full day at sea, giving us two full days at sea. 

We attended various lectures and spent hours in the cabin working on photos and future travel plans.  In Bolivia, Tara had brought a bag of Angelina’s hot chocolate mix from Paris so we did have that one day as a special treat.  

Otherwise, the days were quiet.
